Naked 1 Palette By Urban Decay review

Naked 1 Palette

So I’ve had the Naked palette for a while, but I figured I would do a review on it.
I’m very fair skinned and have green eyes. The colors are very pigmented so a little goes along way. I’ve used it over 100 times and still haven’t hit the tin! So at first, it doesn't look like much but you get plenty of product.

Here are the colors swatched on my fair skin

From Left to Right (Virgin,Sin,Naked,Sidecar,Buck,Halfbaked,Smog,Darkhorse,Toasted,Hustle,Creep,Gunmetal)

This palette  is really great for making a Smokey eye or a darker look. It can even be used to make a light cute day look. I find the color would work well with almost any color.  Which I will probably do later on.
This palette offers a lot of great base colors or highlights. Two of my favorites are Virgin for a highlighter and Naked or buck as a base. They’re very neutral and good to build upon.
One to use with a light hand is Dark horse because it goes on very dark.

BRUSH

The palette also included a brush. The brush is great for applying shadows to the lash lines as it is very thin and can pack on a lot of product. It is also good to build the base with. It doesn't allow for blending well though.

Eye shadow primer

This set also came with a sample size of Urban Decays famous Eye shadow potion primer, it made the colors show up brighter. But it didn’t seem to last much longer, but that could be because I have oily eyelids. Which is a problem for me since I already have naturally oily eyelids. It’d be great for drier or less oily skin types. I still prefer my cheaper drugstore counterpart Cover girls Fresh Complexion Under-Eye Concealer ($4-5)The color I have is classic ivory. Which I feel works better with my oily lids at 1/3 the price.

Overall

I would repurchase this palette because it offers a lot of different looks to be made. I don’t think I would buy any more of the naked palettes as they tend to look similar to me.
